The second of two LED signs will be installed this week on the northwest corner of the Main Street Mall building in the Little Rock Creative Corridor.
The curved monitor, like the “tickertape” monitor previously installed on the southwest corner of the building, will display digital posters and other images of events going on in Downtown Little Rock and provide additional visual interest in the 500 block of Main Street.
“It is exciting to see the transformation of this grand American street continue,” said Mayor Mark Stodola, one of the driving forces behind the Creative Corridor. “This new feature, in addition to being a helpful tool for sharing information, enhances the vibrant space and economic engine being created in the heart of downtown.”
Funding for both signs comes from the private foundation Educational Foundation of America.
